Trichromic.

Site-specific installation for Cuyahoga Community College. Trichromic is an interactive artwork based on ideas generated by Cuyahoga Community College Students. Students were asked to choose words that related to STEM subjects. This piece contains 546 freely spinning ceramic wheels, each glazed with three different glazes.

Net 1.

Part of a larger installation for American Greetings.

Halcyon Blue.

200 handmade porcelain discs with gold and platinum luster sit in the niche spaces surrounding the conference table at this church converted to an office. The stained glass reflects gold and blue light off the surface of the porcelain for an ever-changing light in the space.

Colorwalk.

Colorwalk is a site-specific installation made from thousands of plastic discs fabricated at Behrend’s plastic fabrication lab. These vertical bars meander through the tree line to create a colorful artistic presence on the campus. Colorwalk is available for loan! Please contact Lauren if interested.

Common Energy.

Common Energy seeks to instill the Eastman Reading Garden and the downtown Cleveland community with a message of positivity, inclusivity, and love. The design is based on Tibetan prayer wheels, cylindrical wheels inscribed with Buddhist mantras. Hundreds of thousands of messages are also placed inside of the wheels. Interacting with the prayer wheels simply requires the act of spinning them in order to send their message out to the world.

Drift.

Public art commissioned by Sage Hospitality for The Westin Hotel in downtown Cleveland, completed in spring of 2014. One of seven commissioned works in the hotel, Drift is located prominently behind the reception desk in the lobby.

Anicca.

Anicca is the Buddhist word for impermanence. The ceramic discs are attached by pins to the metal plates. The community is invited to spin the discs and affect the ever-evolving patterns of change in this work.

Anicca was commissioned by LAND Studio for MetroHealth in Brecksville, Ohio.

Coorespondence.

To/From, ceramics, 2016. Commissioned for American Greetings headquarters in Westlake, Ohio.

Comprised of porcelain envelopes, each dimension was sourced from the American Greetings card catalog.
